Karlovac – the most accessible bycicle city in Croatia

Karlovac is bicycle friendliest city in the country! That is the result of the evaluation of cities with the infrastructure for the use of bicycles within the framework of the recently ended international project “Mobile 2020” presented by the Regional Environmental Center Croatia.

For that title competed ten cities, and Karlovac took the title in front of Velika Gorica.

“Mobile2020” was conducted in eleven countries of Central and Eastern Europe, and aimed to strengthen the capacity of local governments for sustainable transport planning and increasing the share of bicycle traffic in cities, as well as promote the use of bicycles in everyday traffic.
